8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, with plates and illustrations in the text; terracotta cloth, gilt back, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly rubbed with minor loss at edges. Betjeman contributes 'Pleasures and Palaces' with six illustrations in gravure. This is the work's first appearance; it is reprinted in 'First and Last Loves' and 'Coming Home'. SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THE DUSTWRAPPER. Peterson B28; not recorded by Stapleton.
