Signed by author on title page and very neat inscription on reverse of half-title page. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked blue cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Well-rubbed dust jacket not price clipped with piece missing from upper rear edge, dusty rear. Very scarce in the UK. 145pp. From the earliest contact of physicians with tribespeople whose health lay in the healing power of native medicine men in upcoast British Columbia with their drums, rattles and potions, this very readable account tells how the latest scientific medicine came to whites and natives alike.
