A beautiful and highly original livre d'artiste, with text by Méresse 10 large full-page hors-texte original prints by Mazet (5 woodcuts and 5 embossings). Edition limited to 50 numbered copies printed on extremely fine, thick Arches wove paper and signed by the author and the artist. This copy with a long, poetic presentation inscription from Méresse to André Lagrange, signed in pencil and dated 1983. Folio. Loose as issued in cloth folding case. FINE AND BRIGHT.
