Previous owner's stamp on front end paper. Traces of tape marks to end papers. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked black cloth boards, very clear gilt lettering, slight bumping to spine ends and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped with nicks and chips to edges and still taped to remains of clear acetate protective cover. 319pp. A critical and biographical study of the painter El Greco, born in Crete in 1541.
