In-16 (mm. 175x105), mz. pelle coeva, dorso a cordoni con titolo oro, pp. (8),520, illustrato da 12 tavole fuori testo (ripieg.) inc. su legno. "Prima edizione" di questa interessante opera, molto ben documentata, sugli esordi delle macchine a vapore e loro utilizzo nei trasporti e soprattutto sulla locomotiva à foyer tubulaire creata da Marc Seguin nel 1828, che permise un rapido sviluppo delle ferrovie. Cfr. Lorenz,IV, p. 521. Con qualche fiorit. ma buon esemplare.
