Leonardo Cambini morì nel 1918 per le ferite riportate alla testa nella battaglia a Meletta di Gallio, sull'altipiano di Asiago. Trattasi di un commovente epistolario di guerra che può rappresentare i nostri soldati che combatterono eroicamente tra le rupi dell'arido Carso scrissero alle loro beneamate famiglie.
