8vo., Second Impression, with 32 plates and a double-page map in the text, small damp-mark on first free preliminaries; green cloth, gilt back, a very good copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with minor loss (not affecting lettering) at head of backstrip. Still the most comprehensive, and certainly the best-written, work on the subject. The first edition appeared in the previous year.
