First edition, small 8vo (159 x 114 mm), [6], 139, [1] pp., with half-title, 3 engraved plates, nineteenth century cloth, spine gilt, a good copy. Attributed to Isaac Brandon but possibly written by William Combe, author of ìDoctor Syntaxî, who undoubtedly knew Stern in France and in England.
