No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked black boards, well-foxed slightly dusty page edges and minor bumping to upper corners. Dusty dust jacket not price clipped or marked with sunned spine and small tears to upper rear edge and spine foot. Fold-out map of Paris in 1530 in excellent condition. 355pp. Biography of Francois Villon, French poet of the late Middle Ages who had many encounters with the law, was born in 1431 and vanished from history after 1463.
