ABOUT THE BOOK:- This glossary aims to contribute to a general and clear understanding of some of the frequently used terms and concepts related to women studies, gender studies or feminist studies and other social science studies. It addressed to the policymakers, researchers, students and anyone interested in such issues. It is acknowledged that the glossary is depends on the reader's understandings of these terms with their background and experiences. Moreover, a group of Women's Studies scholars held for discussing the scope of Women's Studies had defined its objectives as “Transformation of Spheres of Knowledge Production” through research, for changing the perspectives of the contribution of women in society as well as focus on women-centric issues in contemporary society.
