Godden's guide to European Porcelain

Looks at the mass of decorative porcelain from Europe imported into Britain and the USA during the 19th century. Chapters are devoted to the originals and the many copies of the well-known Meissen (or Dresden) porcelains, and to the reproduction of the valuable Sevres and Vienna porcelains. Other chapters deal with the main types of popular and available continental porcelains, including Paris porcelain, that are decorative and collectable. Details, working periods and the main marks of the larger and more important factories are provided, together with a range of illustrations of examples.
