RARE examination of the grammar of western Aramaic inscriptions from the ancient city of Palmyra (also knows under its Hebrew name Tadmor) located in today's Syria. It is attributed to King Solomon who is considered to have built it in the 2nd millennium B.C. Contains a folding map. 166x251mm. XI+167 pages. Softcover. Cover slightly stained. Cover edges and cover corners worn. Spine bottom part missing, spine upper edge tattered. Spine yellowing. Most page edges rough-cut as published and lightly yellowing. Sticker on whitepage and on pre-title page. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This rare linguistic study has suffered some damage to cover, but is still in good reading condition.
