Dust jacket price clipped and slightly foxed but not marked or torn or creased. 134pp. The first Russian grammar ever published, originally in 1696 based on the author's personal observations during his stay in Russia which gives an accurate description of the colloquial language at the time. Also includes a phrase-book with specimens of that genuine colloquial Russian not found in texts. The Latin Appendix contains interesting information about Russia's natural resources and the life of its inhabitants. Scarce.
