Sm. 8vo., with an engraved folding plan in red and black as frontispiece, and 5 wood-engraved illustrations in the text, some dust-marking to margins of title only; original printed wrappers, sewed as issued, wrappers age-marked but still legible, backstrip virtually absent, joints weak but quite sound else a bright, clean copy. No earlier edition, nor earlier guide-book to the locality, is recorded by Anderson; this is the only edition recorded in BMC
