This is a very good hardcover copy in an about very good dust jacket. The jacket has light soil, and the back panel has a small chip out of the lower edge. Very clean inside, but a short gift inscription to the front endpaper. This is a very comprehensive study of the figure of the harlequin, from his beginnings in renaissance Italy to our modern versions on film and stage. Illustrated in black & white and with a few color plates. 9" high X 6" wide, 259 pages.
