2 volumes. First Edition of Each Volume. The Walpole with fine provenance, coming from the collections of the Hope Baronetcy, with their coat-of-arms. With an engraved pictorial illustration of Richard III as frontispiece to the Walpole volume, and an engraved pictorial illustration of King Richard III and Queen Anne, both being full-page. Quarto, the Walpole volume in three-quarter contemporary marbled paper over boards, the spine panel renewed to style with raised bands gilt ruled, gilt titling to one compartment, the second volume rebound to style with marbled paper covered boards backed in tan calf with red morocco lettering label gilt. xv, 134, [2]; [4], 99 pp. A crisp, clean and unpressed set. Both volumes very well preserved, the bindings strong and tight and with very little evidence of age or use.
