Original red wrappers. Foolscap 8vo. (18 x 12 cm). In Ottoman script (Old Turkish with Arabic letters). 95, [1] p., a couple of rust stains from staples on the front cover, occasionally foxing. Otherwise, an excellent copy. First Ottoman Turkish edition of this abridged translation of the history of Russia covering the period 1725-1932, by 19th century French historian Seignobos, translated by Hamid Zübeyr [Kosay] indicated on the title page as "H. Z. of Russia", who was a Jadidist Turkish archaeologist and ethnographer. Özege 17135.; As of 2023 September, five copies in OCLC (949547848, 850741104), three copies in the US libraries: Princeton University Library, UCLA (x2).
