Description
L'abate Domenico Nocca (1758-1841) è stato direttore dell'orto botanico di Mantova e poi prefetto di quello di Pavia, dove ha anche insegnato botanica a partire dal 1802. Tra le sue altre opere si ricorda la "Flora Ticinesis", un censimento della flora del territorio di Pavia eseguita insieme a Giovanni Battista Balbis.
