Un volume (24 cm) di 34 pagine + 12 carte con tavole incise + 1 carta geografica ripiegata all'inizio. 12 engrav. plates on China paper and a folded engrav. map (of the protestant valleys in Piemont). The illustrations are entitled Lausanne, The Col de Bonhomme, Near Mont Cenis, Arch at Susa, The B ridge of Salabertrann, Prali, The Serre le Cruel, The Balsi, Pra Del Tor, The Rock of Castel Luzzo, La Tour, La Tour & Lucerne. Legatura in tela cartonata coeva (difetti al dorso (mancanze di carta); interno in ottime condizioni. Ex libris valdese applicato al retro del piatto. Acland was the publisher, translator and illustrator of The glorious Recovery by the Vaudois of their Valleys by Henri Arnaud (J. Murray, London, 1827). This volume, published 4 years later, presents just the map and the 12 fine engravings by Edward Finden, without the text. Accompanied with an introduction to the history of the Vaudois and plate descriptions (Bibliografia valdese).
