This is a near fine hardcover copy in light green paper-covered boards printed in black with the title and a drawing of a Tibetan building on the front cover. Virtually no wear, just one tiny nick to the top edge of the front cover. Completely clean inside and out. No foxing or marks of any kind to text or illustrations. Text in German. This is the account of the author's 1914 expedition into Tibet. Many black & white photographic plates + a color topographical map, also black & white area map of Tibet. 9" high X 6" wide, 316 pages.
