8vo., First Edition, with title-vignette, numerous plates and illustrations in the text, and 2 full-page maps; original green buckram, gilt back, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with one small loss at front lower corner. A lovely copy of Hadfield's classic account which did much to rekindle interest in canals and waterways in the later post-war period. VERY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
