Description
This is a fine hardcover copy in a very good dust jacket. Completely clean inside and out. The jacket has a tiny closed tear to the bottom edge of the front panel, and a little rubbing to the edge of the spine, and is price-clipped, otherwise fine. Fine reference for the various theories of architecture from the mid 18th century through the Italian art nouveau. Bibliography. Appendices: Chronological list of publications 1700-1800; Visitors to Italy in the Eighteenth Century. 266 black & white illustrations. 11" high X 8" wide, 546 pages. A beautiful copy of this essential reference.
