This is a very good hardcover copy with light wear. Completely clean inside and out, no foxing or other marks. The spine tips are worn. The title letters in black on the spine are a bit faded but all there. Text in GERMAN. Standard monograph on the German painter Carl Eduard Ferdinand Blechen (1798 - 1840) (sometimes Karl Blechen) was a German landscape painter and a Professor at the Academy of Arts, Berlin. Preface by Dr. Paul Ortwin Rave. Four tipped-in color plates + hundreds of black & white illustrations. Concordance. 13" high X 10" wide, 540 pages.
