Description

Original illustrated wrappers. Cr. 8vo. (19 x 14 cm). In Turkish. [8], 72 p., b/w ills. and maps. A fine copy. First and only edition of this rare work by Orga, who served as a Senior Major in the Turkish Army during and after the Korean War (July 1953 - August 1954). The book presents a nationalist perspective on the conflict and highlights the role of the Turkish Brigade. Divided into two chapters, the first provides detailed information on South Korea's geography, society, economy, and military. The second focuses on the Korean War itself and the contributions of the Turkish forces. As of August 2025, OCLC lists a single copy held at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (164713554).
