This is a very good hardcover copy in a very good dust jacket with a few creases and small closed tears. Completely clean inside and out. Text completely in Russian. Monograph on Kuzma Sergeevich Petrov-Vodkin (1878- 1939) who was an important Russian/Soviet painter and writer. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. While there Petrov-Vodkin was a student of Valentin Serov, Isaak Levitan and Konstantin Korovin. Illustrated throughout in black & white with many tipped-in color plates. Chronology.
