Edizione di 1003 esemplari. Esemplare n. 894 di 900 impressi su vélin teinté. Legatura firmata "J.P. Miguet" in mezzo box nero, piatti esterni in carta lucida marrone, protetta da sovraccoperta trasparente in acetato. Taglio superiore dorato. Si conservano la copertina e il dorso della brossura originale. Cofanetto in cartoncino con lievissimi segni d'usura. Primo "roman collage" di Max Ernst di 147 illustrazioni, suddiviso in nove capitoli. Sotto a ogni immagine una breve didascalia. Prima di copertina figurata.
