One of 500 copies printed on Vélin. Alfred de Vigny's (1797-1863) poem on the fate of the frigate "La Sérieuse" which was sunk in 1798 near Aboukir by Admiral Nelson, with the fine illustrations by Pierre Falké. - Small tear in last leaf expertly repaired, otherwise fine. - Monod 11212.
