Edizione: jules jacques veyrassat nato a parigi il 2 luglio 1828 ed ivi morto il 12 aprile 1893 fu pittore animalista e paesaggista ed incisore all'acquaforte. allievo di lehmann e di faustin besson divenne cavaliere della legion d'onore nel 1878. oltre alla suddetta medaglia fu piã¹ volte premiato per la qualitã della sua opera artistica. ha inoltre collaborato per molti anni alle riviste l'artiste e a le musee des deux mondes (a cui appartiene la suddetta stampa) e fu presente al salone di parigi a partire dal 1848 - bibliogr.: benezit, x, 484-485 (ediz. del 1976) - gaite dugnat et pierre sanchez, v, 2461.
