FIRST EDITION, with a fine engraved frontispiece portrait of the author by A. Lamotte. 85 pp. The justification announces 200 copies on wove paper and 100 copies on Japan, but this is a presentation copy on extremely fine laid paper with a signed presentation inscription from Léon Conquet, the publisher. 12mo. Beautifully bound in contemporary three-quarters morocco and decorated boards by Champs (signed). Silk ribbon page marker. Original wraps and backstrip preserved. Uncut. Tiny traces of wear to extremities of binding, else FINE AND BRIGHT.
