Illustrated with THREE ORIGINAL ETCHINGS BY DUBOUCHET. A SPECIAL LARGE-PAPER COPY ON THIN OLD JAPANESE LAID PAPER, justified "reserve", and INITIALED BY THE PUBLISHER. In this copy each of the etchings appears in two states: before letters on Japanese paper and with letters on laid paper. 8vo. Beautifully bound in quarter morocco and marbled boards by LE BRET of Fontainebleau (signed). Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Original wrappers and backstrip preserved. Minimal traces of wear to extremities, a little spotting to spine. Internally FINE AND BRIGHT. A perfect example of the academic "Livre de 1880", and very rare, perhaps unique, in this state.
