First and only edition of an important mid-17th-century manuscript relating to the Fronde in Provence (beginning 1648-1650). Copious, extensive notes. VIII, 283 pp. A LARGE-PAPER COPY PRINTED ON BRIGHT PEACH-COLORED FINE WOVE PAPER. Very few books were printed on colored paper in France towards the end of the 19th century, especially by provincial presses. 4to. Attractively bound in recent quarter calf and marbled boards, original wraps bound in. Fine and bright. An excellent copy of a rare book.
