No marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers or to spine. Very clean very tight pages with label removal mark to rear board, dusty page edges and rubbing to corners and spine ends. Original descriptive dust flap pasted onto reverse of rear end paper. 867pp. Biography of Russian writer Leo Tolstoy. Tucked in are three magazine articles, one from the Spectator 1961 on War and Peace, one from Punch 1954 on Tolstoy's son's account of his father 'A Life of My Father and one from John O' London's weekly 1960 on Tolstoy's wife's book Married to Tolstoy.
