RARE Casterman mid-60's printing of the 5th comic in the Adventures of Tintin, IN FRENCH. As with most Casterman printings of Tintin, the date of printing is not mentioned anywhere in the book, and can only be inferred from the list of other available titles on the rear cover, which lists "Les Bijoux de la Castafiore" (printed in 1962) but not "Vol 714 pour Sydney" (printed in 1968). 300x220mm. 62 pages. Illustrated Hardcover. [CONDITION:] Cover still solid. Cover edges and corners worn. Spine missing, replaced with black cloth-tape. Few pages slightly age-stained. Notes in pencil by previous owner on margins of first comic page. Pages slightly yellowed. [SUMMARY]: Overall the book is in good condition inside, but obviously used outside.
