Description
FIRST EDITION of this early novel by André de Dognon, later known as a groundbreaking homophile writer. ONE OF ONLY 35 LARGE-PAPER COPIES PRINTED ON FINE ALFA WOVE PAPER. With a cordial SIGNED presentation inscription from Dognon to celebrated author Francis Ambrière and his wife Suzanne. Laid in, furthermore, is a SIGNED autograph letter from Dognon to Ambrière. Finally, this copy includes A SUITE OF SEVEN DELICATE ORIGINAL DRYPOINTS BY JACQUES SACHER. Sacher executed these prints independently in an edition of only 20 sets (this is one of 15 on fine Dutch laid paper, initialed by Sacher on the justification). 8vo. Book is in original wraps, entirely uncut and unopened. Suite of prints is in the original paper folder. Both are housed in a cloth chemise and slipcase. ABSOLUTELY FINE AND BRIGHT, WITH NO DEFECTS. Of the greatest rarity.
