Description
Pages 45-262 pages. This nostalgic old cookbook is a bit of a mystery. The title page appears to have been removed so we can state neither the publisher nor date of publication with specificity. Further, although the front cover states 'Book One', The first page in the book reads "Part III - Complete Dishes". On the back of this page 'Suggestions for Lessons' are provided, so perhaps this is an instructor's manual. A prior owner has pencilled in the date 1917 which is probably a reasonably indication of the printing date. Our research suggests the publisher may have been Rand McNally. The only other hint we can provide is that the book was clearly intended for U.S. readers. Above-average wear. 3/4" strip neatly removed from top of front cover. Interesting bits of ephemera tucked in at several places. Sure to please that special cookbook collector in your life! Book
