This book collects more than five-hundred letters written by Gabriello Chiabrera (Savona, 1552-1638). It is a critical edition based on autographs, manuscripts and 17th-18th century editions. The epistolary was written not to be published and it is addressed to the painter Bernardo Castello, to the nobleman Pier Giuseppe Giustiniani and to many eminent people of 16th-17th centuries.
