2 vols., 8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, fore-edges lightly spotted, some light spotting to text (mainly marginal); original burgundy cloth, gilt backs, uncut and largely unopened, backstrips sunned (but all gilt entirely legible), backstrips chafed (without material loss) at heads, else a very good, bright, clean set. With 4pp publisher's catalogue bound in at end of second volume. Sold from an institution with its bookplate on front paste-downs and press-marks on front free endpapers. Besterman CXVI, CXVII.
