Description
Dresden, Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde in Dresden, 1964-2006. In issues. 8vo (24.0 x 17.0 cm). Over 3000 pp.; numerous illustrations. Near uniform printed wrappers. = Long, uninterrupted run from the start to the end (under this title) of the most important malacological periodical of East Germany, and continued until well after "Die Wende". From 2007-2009 it was continued under the name "Mollusca" before publication ceased. Most papers deal with European non-marine molluscs, but there are also notes on type specimens (mainly of the German malacologist Hermann Eduard Anton), obituaries with lists of publications (e.g., Hildegard Zeissler), etc., etc. A mint set. Uncommon.
