Previous owner's neat name and address dated 1919 on front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers or to spine. Very clean pages in a tight binding with slightly marked red cloth boards and minor bump to lower corner of rear cover. Pull-out frontispiece of typewriter and parts in excellent condition. 252pp. The instructions for the 'state-of-the-art' typrwriter near the beginning of the twentieth century, plus all the formal and other procedures to run a 'modern' office. A fascinating piece of social history.
