This work was published only in the US and is subsequently very scarce in the UK. This copy was formerly in the library of W.H. ('Bill') Lapthorne, the notable Kentish writer and historian and bears his pictorial bookplate on front paste-down. A helpful typed note outlining the bibliographical and topographical importance of the work is tipped-in to a blank preliminary.
