He worked as a teacher between 1950 and 1953. Following that period , he went to Munich University, Faculty of Graphic Arts to continue with his academic career and received his diploma from Stuttgart School of Higher Education of Fine Arts in 1958. For many years, Aslier continued his work at Istanbul School of Higher Education of Applied Fine Arts. From 1982 to 1986 he taught at Mimar Sinan University. He received a total of four awards, the two being the Republic of Turkey-Award of Republic in 1973 and Republic of Turkey-Award of Arts in 1974. He has had thirty eight solo exhibitions so far, nine of which were abroad. His paintings can be seen in museums both locally and abroad. The artist who continues working in Istanbul, tries to explain the humanity of people by his own way."
