With photographic frontispieces of Twain and Howells, and photographs of Twain's home at Hartford and at Stormfield as well as a number of others. 8vo, full sage-green cloth with formal gilt and red decorative lettering and designs on the spine and upper cover. (viii), 187 pp. A very clean, very fine, bright copy, notations by hand through the first part of the book. Light evidence of removed plate to front pastedown.
