This is a very good softcover copy in glossy black & white covers, the front cover with a photograph of a work by Arman, taking up the whole cover. Very clean outside, inside just one tiny spot inside to a text page and a light scribble to the last page of the checklist, otherwise clean. Edges with light wear. Spine rubbed. Essay by John Ashbery. Short text by Pierre Restany. Statement by Sidney Janis on the theme of the exhibition. This exhibition was one of the first, if not the first, to include together many of the artists whose works became known collectively as Pop Art. 54 works in the exhibition. 29 illustrated in black & white. Texts printed on red or blue plastic coated papers.
