Description
This is a fine softcover copy in stiff flexible vinyl type covers with no wear at all. Completely clean inside and out. Text in Spanish with English summary at the end. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Reina Sofia in 2003. Nicolas de Lekuona (1913-1937) was an enormously talented Spanish artist who worked in the media of photography and painting. His photomontages from the 1930's are reminiscent of Hannah Hoch, Heartfield et al. This catalog is the first serious attempt to rescue Lekuona from the obscurity that his death at age 24 condemned him. Bibliography.
