Folio (375 x 290 mm), portfolio containing six original etchings (enclosed in green paper wrappers) by Philip Pimlott, each signed in pencil by the artist, printed label ìNo. 12 Subscriberî, black cloth portfolio, with ties. The six etchings are of Totteridge and the surrounding area: The Long Pond; The Old Yew Tree in Churchford; Totteridge Common; The Post Office; The Parish Church, Totteridge; The Cross-Roads. Ernest Philip Pimlott (1871-1960), born in Stoke Damerel, Devon. He began exhibiting in the early 1890ís and subsequently showed his work at the Royal Academy, New English Art Club, and at the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers who elected him an Associate in 1901.
