Description
Name on second front end paper. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked yellow cloth boards and minor bumping to some corners. Dust jacket not price clipped with pieces missing from ends of sunned spine, tears to some corners and rubbing/creasing to upper edge. 285pp. Written by the two young daughters of Lin Yutang, famous author of The Art of Living. Having already travelled extensively, the contrasts they draw between the China they remember and other countries visited are singularly acute and illuminating. Scarce.
