ONE OF ONLY ELEVEN (11) COPIES PRINTED OF THIS PORTFOLIO OF SIX SIGNED OIL PRINTS BY MASHOFER. (Oil printing is an extremely unusual photographic process with roots in the nineteenth century--see Wikipedia.) Wonderful, haunting images. Each print is numbered (5/11) signed and dated ('95) in pencil, and matted. Large folio (52.5 x 42 cm). Housed in the original cloth clamshell box. Tiny traces of wear to box, else FINE AND BRIGHT.
