Spine with gilt bands and title. = Rare early half-volume of this important magazine on travel, exploration, and geography. Of special interest are the massive map of Khoresan (eastern Iran), and the peculiar, coloured, isochronic passage chart for travellers. Starting from London, this world map shows how many days of travel are necessary to reach any other point on the globe. Binding somewhat worn and shaky; one map lose. Otherwise a very good, complete copy.
