Description
First Edition of the first of the "Graphic" Picturebook. Illustrated in colours on virtually every page, sometimes surrounding the text and at other times alone without text, a number of double-page plates. Oblong large folio, publisher's pictorial boards in ciolours, backed in blue cloth, the spine lettered in gilt. 96 pp. A rare survival in very pleasing condition, the plates and pages all in fine order, the hinges strong and unbroken, a bit of light edgewear, most likely from shelving, the mellowed a bit.
