Anonymously published "Reflexions" about a "Memorial" by Pietro de Mellarède (1659-1730), one of the most important diplomats serving Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy. In 1703 he was sent to Switzerland to assure the cantons of the neutrality of Savoy.
